an aspiring designer in the field of Architecture + Smart Systems

design oriented towards the synthesis of both rigid and fluid forms_inception: concept sketches, _process: visualization+optimization+modeling in Rhino+Grasshopper, 3D printing, CNC routing, and laser models, _deliverables: drafting + misc. Revit+SketchUp

design comprised of two stages: research + experimentation

pursuing the purest of aesthetics in 3D modeling in lines not hiding behind rendered visions

Design

Rigid:

pre-fabricated shelter with recycled materials: shipping pallets, light-gauge steel channels, tubes

Acoustic Diffusor / Insulator unit system using wood, paper, and shipping pallets

Fluid:

Digital modeling in Rhino 3D using Grasshopper+plug-in for scripts

Generating 3D printer, CNC Router, and laser models of scripting work

 

Visualization

Simple V-Ray and Renders in Rhino

Renders using Collage technique along with textures and entourage in Photoshop

Render by hand: watercolor, graphite, colored pencils, ink, inkwash

Optimization using Plug-ins in Grasshopper: Human, HoneyBee, Ladybug, Python
